이 연구의 목적은 한국어 발음에서 많은 혼동을 겪고 있는 어간 말 자음군의 실제적 발음 양상과 원리를 고찰한 후, 효과적으로 지도하기 위해 한국어 교육에서의 교육적 수용 방안을 모색하는 데 있다. 한국어 모음의 경우에는 발음의 유사성으로 인한 오류가 많고, 자음의 경우에는 체언 어간말 자음군의 곡용형, 용언 어간말 자음군의 활용형에 서 실현될 때 많은 혼동을 겪게 된다. 어간말 자음군 발음을 다루고 있는 한국어 교재를 분석한 결과 학생을 대상으로 하는 교재는 낱말 발음에 초점을 두어 다루되, 학습 단원의 전 개와 연계성이 높지 않았다. 성인을 대상으로 하는 교재는 발음 자체에 초점을 두는 사례가 많지 않았으며, 높은 음운론적 지식을 필요로 하는 활동이 제시되어 있었다. 어간말 자음군의 발음은 언어적 민감성을 기르는 사용 중심의 발음 교 육, 규범에 대한 인식 전환과 이에 따른 교재 구현, 교육 내용의 계열화를 통해서 효과적으로 지도할 수 있다.
The purpose of this study was to analyze easy to confuse stem-final consonant clusters in the korean language. The study also examined current methods used to teach stem-final consonant clusters effectively. In the Korean language, there are some cases of vowels and consonants which can be confusing to pronounce. Specifically, people are often confused by the pronounciation of consonant clusters. The study’s analysis of the current teaching method for stem-final consonant clusters within Korean textbooks are as follows: Learning materials for young students focus on word pronunciation, however adult learning materials do not focus on word pronunciation. Further, most activities within the curriculum require knowledge of basic phonology. The method of educational application is as follows: First, We can teach the students some frequently used words. Second, it must alter the preconceptions of how words are normally connected together in order to present the correct patterns in which words are created. It must alter the preconceptions not to be bound by the standard of pronounciation. Third, the sequence of information should be handled in a step by step process starting from basic to advanced for pronunciation learning.
