본 연구는 새로이 제작되는 부모의 양육유형 질문지 예비문항의 안면타당도를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저 국내에서 사용되는 양육태도 질문지에서 사용되는 문항을 수집하여 총 714개의 문항 풀을 구성한 다음, 문항의 내용타당도를 고려하여 ‘신념과 가치(Beliefs & Values)’, ‘사회화(Socialization)’, ‘개별화(Individualization)’, 그리고 ‘정서적 관 계(Emotional Relations)’의 4개영역으로 나누어 각 영역에서 30문항씩 총 120개의 예비문항 을 구성하였다. 각 영역에 속한 문항들이 적합하게 이해되고 적절하게 분류되었는지 알아 보기 위해 아동발달 전문가 9인에게 영역별로 선정된 30문항씩을 제시한 후, 문항의 의미 에 따라 여섯 번에 걸쳐 범주수를 달리하여 분류하도록 하였다. 분류 결과를 근거로 문항 간 유사성 Matrix를 계산한 후 유사성 Matrix에 의거하여 계층적 군집분석(Hierarchical cluster analysis)과 다차원 척도분석(Multidimensional Scaling Analysis; MDS)을 실시하여 안면타당도를 알 아보았다. 문항 간 상대적 거리 및 의미적 관련성을 고려하여 일부 문항을 제거하였다. 그 결과 ‘신념과 가치’ 27문항, ‘사회화’ 26문항, ‘개별화’ 23문항, 그리고 ‘정서적 관계’ 30문항 이 최종 선정되었다.
This study is for the face validity of the preliminary items of PSI under developing. At first, we constructed the item pool of 714 items with all items used in the questionnaire for testing the parenting style in Korea. We divided them into 4- categories, according to the ‘House model of parenting milieu’ such as ‘Beliefs & values’, ‘Socialization’, ‘Individualization’, and ‘Emotional relations’. A total of 120 items were selected by 30 items each in four areas. In order to find the face validity indices, we asked 9 experts in child development to categorize 30 items into a certain number of class according to the meaning of sentence. The item similarity matrix was computed with the sort data. The item similarity matrix was submitted to MDS in SPSS and Hierarchical Cluster Analysis in SAS procedure. Finally, 106 items were selected under basis of the validity indices from the two processes.
