국문초록

본 연구에서는 숲 유치원 운영기관을 중심으로 숲 유치원에 대한 유아교사의 인 식도와 현황을 살펴봄으로써 숲 유치원 활성화를 위한 기초자료로 제공하고자 하 였다. 전국에 위치한 12개의 숲 유치원 운영기관의 유아교사 160명을 연구대상으 로 질문지 조사가 이루어졌다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 탐 색적 요인분석과 신뢰도분석이 시행되어졌고, 연구문제별로 빈도분석, t-test와 ANOVA가 실시되었다. 연구결과 첫째, 유아교사의 숲 유치원 인식도는 전반적으 로 높게 나타났다. 교사의 역할 및 태도와 숲 유치원에 대한 교육효과 인식도가 가장 높았고, 현 유아교육방향 인식은 가장 낮게 나타났다. 연령, 학력, 교육경력, 숲 유치원 운영유형에 따른 교사의 숲 유치원 인식도는 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 운영현황으로는, 기관자체 설립형, 정기적 숲 방문, 주1-2회 방문, 일일 4시간 운 영, 관련자격증 없음, 10-29시간 교사교육시간, 정규반, 만 4세아, 21-25명 학급 규 모에 대한 응답이 가장 큰 빈도로 나타났다.

영문초록

The purpose of this study was to examine teachers' perceptions of forest kindergartens and the current implementation of forest kindergartens. The subjects of this study were 160 teachers of forest kindergartens. Teachers responded to the questionnaires by self-reporting. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0. Factorial analysis and reliability analysis, t-test and ANOVA were conducted. First, the mean score of the teachers' role and attitude was the highest and the mean score of teachers' perceptions about trends of early childhood education in Korea was the lowest. Also there were some significant differences in the levels of teachers' perceptions of forest kindergartens according to their age, academic career, teaching career, and management type of forest kindergarten. Second, findings on the current implementation of forest kindergartens was as follows: for the question on the hosted establishment of forest kindergartens, "kindergarten or day-care centers" had the highest frequency; for the question on the type of visiting forest kindergarten, "regular visiting" had the highest frequency; for the question on the running time of forest kindergartens, "daily over 4 hours" had the highest frequency; for the question on the class type, "regular type" had the highest frequency; for the question on the child's age, "four-year old children" had the highest frequency; and for the question on the class size, " a class size of 21-25 children " had the highest frequency.
