본 연구에서는 불포화토의 포화도를 구하기 위해 디지털 이미지기법(DIA)을 적용하였다. 실험을 위한 시료는 주문진 표준사를 사용하였다. 1차원 모래기둥 시험을 실시하여 일정수위상태에서의 디지털 이미지의 colour number($C_n$)와 포화도(S)와의 상관식을 구하였다. 함수특성곡선(SWCC)을 구하기 위해 Buchner funnel이 부착된 hanging water column test를 실시하였으며, $C_n;-;S$ 관계식을 이용하여 각 suction head 단계에 따른 average colour number로부터 포화도를 산정하였다. factor-alpha, interleukin-6, cycloogygenase 2, phosphorylated-signal transducer and activator of transcription 3, and galactosylceramidase in the MSC-HO-1 group, while expression levels of glial fibrillary acidic protein, β3-tubulin, neurofilament medium, and neuronal nuclear antigen were similar to those observed in IHC results. Our results demonstrate that functional recovery after SCI can be promoted to a greater extent by transplantation of HO-1-overexpressing MSCs than by normal MSCs. -

was conducted 1 week after surgery. The SCO of the 50, 100, and 150 μl inflations was 22-46%, 51-70%, and 75-89%, respectively (p < 0.05). Olby scores were diminished significantly by a combination of the level of SCO and duration of inflation in all groups. Olby scores in the groups of 150 μl-12 h, 150 μl-24 h, and 100 μl-24 h were 0.5, 0, and 1.7, respectively. The combinations of some concentrations of 17-estradiol as a strong estrogen and bisphenol A or butylparaben as a weak estrogen showed additive estrogenic effects. Also, the combinations of some concentrations of nonlyphenol and butylparaben and combination of butylparaben and bisphenol A showed additive effects in the estrogenic activity. Therefore, the estrogenic activities of the combinations of two chemicals were additive, not synergistic. -

of the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway induced by cisplatin was developed. The kinetic parameter values of the mathematical model were estimated from the experimental data. Then, we have investigated the dynamical properties of this model and predicted the apoptosis levels for various concentrations of cisplatin beyond the range of experiments. From parametric perturbation analysis, we further found that apoptosis will reach its saturation level beyond a certain critical cisplatin concentration. -

Here we report evidence that peak cleft glutamate concentration ([glu]cleft) increases during LTP, as indicated by a lessening of the blocking effects of rapidly unbinding antagonists of AMPA. The efficacy of slowly equilibrating antagonists remained unchanged. The elevated [glu]cleft helps support the increased quantal amplitude of AMPA-type EPSCs (excitatory postsynaptic currents) during LTP. -

species, including A. flavus, A. ochraceus, A. westerdijkiae, A. tubingensis, and P. citrinum, were also detected throughout the samples. Although mycotoxins were not detected in the samples, mycotoxigenic potential of A. flavus, A. ochraceus, and A. westerdijkiae isolates were confirmed. These results show that low temperatures (-20°C, 0°C, or 4°C) and/or high surrounding RH (>93%) are not safe environments for storage of dried red peppers as fungal growth can occur under these conditions.
