The Korean Journal of Physiology & Pharmacology 7 Pages
The Korean Journal of Physiology & Pharmacology 2015, Vol.19 No.4 6 341-347 (7 pages)
physical fitness and growth index depending on different IGF-1 gene polymorphisms. The subjects of the study were 44 male students who were 8 year years old. The IGF-1 gene showed the highest frequency of 18 CA repeat (190 bp) in 50% of subjects, and was found in the homozygote (n=11), heterozygote (n=22) and non-carriers (n=11). The results of the physical fitness and growth index among the gene polymorphism groups indicated no significant differences but the expected height of the non-carrier... -

that the 90/90 was correlated with VJ, SUAT, and SCP scores (p<0.05). Single leg stance was correlated with VJ, SUAT, over head deep squat, and bridge with leg extension were correlated with VJ (p<0.05). The toe touch was correlated with SUAT results (p<0.05). Conclusions: The results of this study showed that the TPI Level 1 test and power test were correlated with the performance of the golf players. Future studies have shown that fitness program development and further research are needed. -

Effect of Producing Different Phenazines on Bacterial Fitness and Biological Control in Pseudomonas chlororaphis 30-84
The Plant Pathology Journal 15 Pages
5 44-58 (15 pages)
to understand the fitness effects of producing different phenazines, we constructed isogenic derivatives of P. chlororaphis 30-84 that differed only in the type of phenazines produced. Altering the type of phenazines produced by P. chlororaphis 30-84 enhanced the spectrum of fungal pathogens inhibited and altered the degree of take-all disease suppression. These strains also differed in their ability to promote extracellular DNA release, which may contribute to the observed differences in the... -

Hyperlipidemia as a predictor of physical functioning for stroke
Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Science 6 Pages
8 88-93 (6 pages)
results of this study show that having a history of hyperlipidemia before stroke affects static and dynamic postural balance performance, anticipatory dynamic postural balance, and gait endurance in individuals with chronic hemiparetic stroke. Based on the results of this study, we also suggest treatment for hyperlipidemia should be implemented throughout the therapeutic interventions, such as pharmacological or exercise programs, in order to restore the physical function of stroke survivors. -
