탄저균은 그람양성 아포형성세균으로 탄저를 일으키는 원인균이다. Bacillus cereus그룹에 속하는 22종을 포함하여 Bacillus 속의 29종에서 탄저균을 검증할 수 있는 DNA 마커를 개발하고 이를 이용하여 B. cereus 그룹에서 탄저균만을 구분하였다. 한국산 탄저균 경주로부터 709 bp마커(KHTS)를 확보하였다. KHTS분절로부터 얻어진 internal primer set의 PCR 산물은 B. cereus 그룹의 다른 종으로부터 탄저균만을 구별하였다. -

국내 분리 fariffur anthracis를 포함한 B. anthracis 17주의 gyrB 전체 유전자 1,923 bp의 염기서열 분석을 수행한 결과 모두 완전히 일치함을 확인하였다. 이중 1,194 bp를 Bacillus속에 속하는 B. cereus, B. thuringiensis 및 B. mycoides의 균주들과 비교하였을 때 각각 92.3%, 86.9%와 86.1%의 일치도를 보였다. 이러한 gyrB 염기서열의 차이를 이용한 중합효소반응(PCR)에 의해 탄저균 여부에 대한 신속한 1차 스크리닝 검사가 가능하며, 또한 gyrB 유전자가 multiplex PCR에서 유용한 chromosomal marker로 활용될 수 있음을... -

These results show that polyphenols of Cynanchi wilfordii Radix have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-bacterial properties that can be exploited and further improved for use as a supplementary functional food, in cosmetics, and for pharmaceutical purposes. -

SCS decreased the inducible NO synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2) levels, which confirmed the anti- inflam-matory activity of SCS. Further, SCS inhibited vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE) and Bacillus anthracis. The minimal inhibitory concentration was 250 μg/ml for VRE and 1,000 μg/ml for B. anthracis. Taken together, these data indicate that SCS has potential anti-inflammatory and anti- superbacterial properties, and thus it can be used as a functional food or pharmaceutical. -

보였다. 이 2종의 균주를 동정한 결과 Bacillus anthracis와 Bacillus cereus로 판명되었다. 최적 조건을 살펴보기 위하여 온도와 초기 pH 영향에 따른 색도 제거율을 알아보기 위하여 실험을 진행한 결과 35$^{circ}C$, pH 7에서 높은 색도제거율을 보였다. 또한 탄소원과 질소원에 따른 영향을 살펴보기 위하여 Bacillus anthracis로 실험한 결과 glucose, yeast extract를 사용한 경우 89%의 높은 색도 제거율을 얻을 수 있었다. 이러한 결과로 미루어 볼 때 분리된 두 균주는 염색폐수의 색도제거에 효과적인 균주라고 사료된다.
