이 연구에서는 월별 AVHRR-NDVI 합성자료와 벡터 자료와 통계 자료를 이용하여 아시아 지역의 각 국가별 토지피복 변화패턴을 분석하였다. 특히, 지표 식물에 대한 인간의 영향에 중점을 두고 NDVI의 변화를 분석하였다. 각 국가별 연평균 변화를 고찰한 결과, 고위도 지역과 중국 동부의 일부 지역과 북서 인도지역에서 NDVI의 증가 경향이 나타났다.
