8세령의 암컷 잡종 더러브렛 말이 4개월간의 눈물과 함께 좌측 상안검에 종괴가 형성되어 있었다. 편측성 외과적 수술을 실시하여 좌측 안구와 안검 종괴를 절제하여 진단 의뢰되었다. 육안적으로 종괴는 $6{ imes}7{ imes}2$ cm 크기이고 반구형의 모양이며 표면은 불규칙하게 거칠었다. 단면상에서 종괴는 단단하고 유백색조를 띠고 있었다. 병리조직학적으로 심하게 증식된 중층편평상피세포가 진피층으로 심하게 함입되어 있었으며, 무수히 많은 표피 능선(rete ridge)과 중층편평상피 섬(squamous islands)을 형성하고 있었다.... -

본 증례는 4년령의 암컷 비글종에서 발생한 것으로 점진적인 안구돌출증을 비롯하여 왼쪽 하안구 부속기에 발생한 직경 1.4 cm 의 종양을 가지고 있었다. 종양의 병리조직학적 검경에서 증생된 종양 세포들이 소엽 및 섬유성 격벽으로 구분되는 관통상의 구조를 나타내고 있었다. 잘 분화된 피지선은 다양한 크기의 소엽을 형성하고 있으며 비만세포 및 단핵 염증세포의 침윤이 관찰되었다. 관강 내에는 이러한 관성구조의 정점부위에서 탈락되어 나온 호염성 불질이 관찰되었으며 일부 관성구조는 경도의 화생을 나타내고 있었다.... -

A 14-year-old Maltese dog presented with progressive exophthalmos and external deviation of the right eye. Ultrasonography revealed the presence of a retrobulbar mass and fine-needle aspiration cytology was performed, which detected a malignant mass. To standardize the corneal haze model in the resection depth and size for efficient corneal haze development, air assisted lamellar keratectomy was performed.
