the injection protocol used in this study, the optimal scan delay times for renal arterial, corticomedullary, and nephrographic phases were 5, 10, and 30 sec after triggering at 100 HU of aortic enhancement using the bolus-tracking technique. The bolus-tracking technique is useful in multi-phase renal CT study as it compensates for different transit times to the kidney among different animals, requires a small dose of contrast media, and does not require additional patient radiation exposure. -

Subcutaneous BV and its fractions treatment did not produce any significant effects on general physiological functions at the highest dose tested (200-fold and 100-fold doses higher than that used clinically, respectively) except writhing test. The purpose of this study was to verify whether small intestinal peristalsis could be observed and quantitatively assessed using pulsed-Doppler ultrasound. Pulsed-Doppler ultrasound was used to evaluate small intestinal peristalsis after a meal in ten normal dogs and ten sedated dogs. optimize the PBPK model for ciprofloxacin. Overall, the increase in Cmax of caffeine by ciprofloxacin was not significant. However, the increase in AUC was observed and was proportional to the administered dose of ciprofloxacin. The predicted DDI and PK results were comparable to observed clinical data published in the literatures.
