본 연구는 동의보감에 나타난 정(精)을 기르고 보충해주는 보정식품(補精食品)의 특성에 대해서 연구하였다. 동의보감에는 95종 의 보정약물이 수록되어 있으며, 이 중 식용으로 가능하거나 제한적으로 사용 가능한 식품은 62종이었다. 이들의 본초학적 특성을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 오미(五味)는 단맛과 쓴맛이 35종으로 전체의 56%를 차지하였으며, 사기(四氣)는 따뜻하거나 평(平)한 성질을 동반한 식품이 39 종으로 전체의 63%를 차지하였다. 귀경(歸經)은 신장으로 36종, 비장으로 29종 귀속되었으며, 각각 전체의 58%와 47%를... -
