1982년 6월부터 1984년 4월까지 서울, 교문리, 퇴계원 등 몇 개의 지역에서 포획된 4종 125개체의 설치류에서 채취된 236개체의 서슬을 조사한 결과 2과 2속 4종이 동정, 정리되었으며, 이들의 목록은 다음과 같다. Family 1. Polyplacidae Ferris, 1951 Genus 1. The murine lice were isolated from hosts collected in Seoul, Kyomun-ri, Toekyewon and several other areas during the period of June, 1982 to April, 1984. The hosts consisted of 125 rodents which included in 4 species and 236 murine lice were obtained from them. The identified murine lice (Anoplura) were classified into 4 species belonging to 2 genera, 2 Families as following lists. Family 1. Hoplopleuridae Ferris, 1951 Genus 1, Hoplopleura Enderlein, 1904 Hoplopleura oenomydis Ferris, 1921 Hoplopleura affinis (Burmeister, 1839) Family 2. Polyplacidae Ferris, 1951 Genus 2.
