Authors analysed the CT findings of 71 cases of uterine cervical carcinoma which were confirmed by operation or biopsy during recent 4 years from June 1983 to May 1986 at the Dept. of radiology, seoul national university hospital to determine its value in evaluaton of parametrial involvement. Results: 1. CT findings agreed with clinicopathologic finding in 111 cases out of total 142 parametria. 2. Prominent parametrial strands and obliteration of periureteral fat were the most common CT findings, present in 37 cases and 19 cases respectively. 3. As a new criteria of parametrial invasion in uterine cervical carcinoma, we found ligamental thickening around the uterine cervix in 12 case out of 142 parametria.
