Metastatic pulmonary calcification associated with hypercalcemia or renal failure is well known but is infrequently diagnosed antemortem because of unsatisfactory radiographic detection of microscopic calcification. The bone scintigraphy may be a valuable adjunct to the diagnosis of metastatic pulmonary calcification. The authors report a case of metastatic pulmonary calcification associated with malignant lymphoma and renal failure, and characteristic scintigraphic pattern. The clinical, pathological and radiographical findings are reviewed.
