In this study, foam dyeing properties of Levafix Blue E-RA alone and its mixture with Lavafix Brilliant Red E-4BA were investigated. In addition, to fine the influence of fabric feed speed and conc, of salt and alkali on foam dyeing properties, the reflectance of the cotton fabric samples dyed with foam process under the various conditions were measured and analyzed. The results were as follows. 1. The above-mentioned two dyes were compatible in the foam dyeing. 2. The reflectance did not vary significantly as conditions changed. 3. The deviations of reflectances were approximately within 0.6%, i.e., good evenness of foam dyed fabric was achieved in optical sense.
