The behavior of braced frame is differentiated from the type of brace disposition, the slenderness ratio and the section shape of brace, the relative stiffness among individual members and the fixed end. Structural behaviors of brace member have not been examined closely and fundamental data of section assumption is rare. This study proposed structural design data for Z, X brace types system by experiment with parameters such as stiffness ratios of beams and columns, slenderness ratios of braces.
