Thymic carcinoid is a rare mediastinal tumor, which was described initially by Rosai & Higa in 1976. About 80cases of thymic carcinoid have been reported throughout the world until 1980, but in our knowledge, only one case of thymic carcinoid was reported pathologically in Korea. This tumor is thought to be one class of carcinoids whics derived form foregut origin. We report CT findings of a thymic carcinoid which was confirmed in Korea University Hospital.
