A case of xanthogranulomatious oophoritis is presented in a patient who had a 3-month history of intrapelvic mass protuding into the vagina. The sonographic findings are a well defined mass shadowing lower echogenicity than the echo of hte uterus at hte posteosuperior aspect of the uterus. The CT findings are an enhancing soid mass with central necrosis containing a multiseptated cystic component
