장서운영(藏書運營)의 효율성은 적은 수의 자료(資料)를 운영하면서 많은 수의 자료를 운영하는 것과 같은 이용률을 유지하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 전문도서관(專門圖書館)인 한국농촌경제연구원(韓國農村經濟硏究院) 자료실의 장서를 평가하여 효율적인 이용자 봉사와 앞으로의 장서개발(藏書開發)을 위한 기초자료를 제시하고자 한다. 연구방법(硏究方法)은 통계에 의한 분석으로 자료의 이용조사와 상대이용분석, 인용리스트에 의한 소장유무 분석, 설문지 방법을 사용하였다.
The effectiveness of the library operation with the least volume is to bring the same amount of utility as the library operating with the largest volume. The major objectives of this study are to evaluate the library collection of Library and Information Division, Korea Rural Economic Institute, the sample library, by the fields and areas of research, and to prepare an alternative for future library collection of KREI. In order to accomplish these objectives, use studies, relative use method, list-checking, and questionaries were used for the analysis.
