야생조류 및 건국대학교 생물학과 동물표본실에 보관되어 온 조류박제표본에서 채집된 6.950여 개체의 깃털진드기들을 동정, 분류한 결과 Kramerellidae과의 Demonoton Eoniwnter (Megnin & Trouessart, 1884), Krqmereua bubonis(Lonnlnrs, 1937), Neopekitotn bubonis Atyeo & Philips, 1984 등 3종과 Pterolichidae과의 Epopolichus atelus Gaud, 1981가 한국미기록종 이어서 그들의 새로운 숙주와 함께 재기재하였다.
About 6,950 fEather mites were isolated from field collections and examination of bird study skins at the zoological specimen room of Kon-Kuk University in Seoul. Among them, 3 species of Kramerellidae, Dermonoton longiventer (Megnln & Trouessart, 1884), Kramerella bubonis (Lonnfors, 1937) , Neopetitotcl bubonis Atyeo & Philips, 1984, and 1 species of Pterolichidae, EpopoLichn atelw Gaud, 1981 were newly recorded from Korea.
