The white-spotted flower chafer, Protaetia brevitarsis were collected from the field and reared in the laboratory. It required 120-150 days for a generation under a constant conditions with $25^{circ}C$, 65% R.H., 16L : 8D. Average periods of egg, larva, pupa and adult stage were 10, 55, 30 and 45 days, respectively. One female oviposited 68 eggs in average. Sizes in each stage were 1.78-2.45$ imes$2.49-2.93mm, 1.5-3.6$ imes$5.4-12.7mm, 3.5-6.9$ imes$14.0-23.0mm, 7.0-11.0$ imes$25.4-38.6mm, 14.0$ imes$22.1mm, and 10.0-10.2$ imes$19.2-19.5mm for the egg, 1st, 2nd, 3rd instar larva, pupa, and adult, respectively. Weights of each stage were 3-7.4mg, 7-83mg, 113-572mg, 778-2326mg, 1320mg, and 935mg for the egg, 1st, 2nd, 3rd instar larva, pupa and adult, respectively. And head width were 1.8, 3.0, and 4.8mm for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd instar larva, respectively.
