야생조류 및 건국대학교 생물학과 동물표본실에 보관되어 온 조류박제표본에서 4,000여 개체의 깃털진드기들이 채집되었다. 이들 중 Analges corvinus Robin & Megnin, 1877, A. nitzschi Haller, 1878, A. passerinus (Linnaeus, 1758), A. sturnae (Fritsch, 1952), Megninia cubitalis (Megnin, 1877) 등 Analgidae과의 한국미기록 5종을 그들의 새로운 숙주와 함께 재기재하였다.
About 4,000 feather mites were isolated from field collections and examination of bird study skins at the zoological specimen room of Kon-Kuk University in Seoul. Among them, 5 species of Analgidae, Analges corvinus Robin & Megnin, 1877, A. nitzschi Halter, 1878, A. passerinus (Linnaeus, 1758), A. sturnae (Fritsch, 1952), Megninia cubitalis (Megnin, 1877), were newly recorded from Korea. They were redescribed with their new hosts.
