Quantitative evaluation of the fatigue and fracture in railsteels is made the basis for predicting fatigue life and making a decision of exchange interval. In this study, Charpy V-notch behavior and fracture toughness were evaluated by using of the analysis data from Charpy V-notch test. From the results of this study, it was shown that there is no any probability of ductile fracture, but quite probability of brittle and fatigue fracture. On the other hand, fracture toughness is decreased by increasing the service year and it is not consitent in evaluation of fatigue toughness for the proposed equation by pre-researcher.
