Thee are four considerations in evaluating the prospects for Korean international economic policy: first, internationalization; second, multi-lateralism; third, increasing competitiveness, and fourth, free trade. Korean international economic policy should not only focus on regional relations but also trade expansion with the U.S., Europe, and other industrialized countries.
