The hydrogen electrodes were manufactured with Raney nickel catalyst containing different transition metals as a promotor and their effects on the particle size distribution, specific surface area and residual aluminum content on hydrogen electrode performance were compared. With the addition of promotors, the particle size was diminished from 13.92 um to 9.77 um. The current density of hydrogen electrode was increased by the order of Cr, Co, Ti and Mo. The highest current density of $492mA/cm^2$ was obtained when $120mg/cm^2$ of catalyst was loaded inthe electrode.
