The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual conditions of storage space and to plan the desirable storage space in apartment based on the results of the investigatiiov. The personal interview and phisical trace method were used for this study. The sample was taken from 50 housewives living in apartments on 30pyong. The results were analyzed by SAS package program. The major findings were summarized as follows: 1) Total amount of storage space was from 6.65$m^3$ to 28.84$m^3$ and the mean was 13.01$m^3$. 2) Storage space of each room was deficient, especially bedroom II and III. 3) The number of family member was related to the satisfaction of storage space.
