Bedwetting is a common symptom with many cause. Noctural enuresis is the most frequent cause of bedwetting and is recognized by the absence of other urinary symptoms or sign of disease. The author treated nocturnal enuresis in children who visited Nocturnal Enuresis Clinic in KOMC(Kyunghee Orientla Medical Center, Seoul, Korea) by Radix Ephedrae. The result were obtained as follows: 1. The grade of nocturnal enuresis in children treated by Radix Ephedrae was significantly decreased. (p<0.01) 2. There is no significant correlation between the effect of Radix Ephedrae and the age of children. 3. There is no significant correlation between the effect of Radix Ephedrae and the initial grade of nocturnal enuresis. According to above result, Radix Ephedrae is considered to be efficacious against nocturnal enuresis in children.
