This paper aims at a study on connective adverbs in present-day Korean. Korean connective adverbs are various uses and functions ; word, phrase and sentence connecting etc. Specially, we analyse co-occurrence between Korean connective adverbs and pre-sentence. Korean connective adverbs are restricted in co-occurrence with endings of a pre-sentence. It is shown that some adverbs are difficult to co-occur due to their relation, and other adverbs can co-occur relatively freely. In the mean time, according to relations of endings with pre-sentence and post-sentence, the constraints are changed.
