Seasonal occurrence of the cigarette beetle adults was investigated using a BLB-light trap and a sex pheromone in tobacco warehouses from 1982 to 1996. The first adult activity occurred between the end of May and the middle of June, the second in the middle of August, and the third in the middle of September. Sex pheromone tap was used to collect adults from warehouses located at Chonan, Wonju, Jonju, Jungup, Kwangjoo, Youngdong, and Youngchun. No monitoring, however, was conducted in ware houses at Hongchon, Jumchon, Andong, Imsil, and Jangsoo. Cigarette beetle adults were found in August when mean temperature was <$25^{circ}C$ at most sites except for Wonju and Youngdong. However, insects were collected from all sites where the temperature was> $25^{circ}C$, regardless of leaf tobacco cultivars. In September, adults were not collected from most sites where the temperature was <19$^{circ}C$ except for Wonju.
