For construction of a mathematical polulation dynamic model of Tetranychus urticae Koch, parameters of temperature-dependent development were estimated. The immature development of T. urticae was studied under 6 constant temperatures ranging from 16 to $33^{circ}$, 60-70% R.H., and a photoperiod of 16 : 8 (L:D) h to estimate the parameters for a poikilotherm rate model. The effect of temperature on immature development was significant; total immature development required 7-26 days depending on temperatures. The curvilinear shapes of development rate were described well by the modified Sharpe and DeMichele model (poikilotherm rate model). The variation of development completion times was well fitted to the three-parameter Weibull function. The lower threshold for immature development was determined to be $12.1^{circ}$. The sex ratio, proportion of females, was estimated to be 0.75. Deviation of developmental parameters from the literature-based data, and the use of parameters for population modeling were further discussed.
