디지털 기술은 정보의 생산, 저장, 배포를 위하여 사용된다. 본 연구에서는 기술적, 경제적, 국가적인 관점에서 디지털 아카이브의 현황을 조사하였으며 디지털 정보의 장기 보존과 관련된 배경과 이슈들에 관하여 분석하였다. 또한 본 연구에서는 디지털 아카이브의 선택, 구분, 보존, 관리 등의 구성 요소와 미래의 전망에 관하여 고찰하였다.
Digital technologies we used increasingly for information production. storage, and distribution. This study provides an overview of the background and related issues for preserving digital informations in the long-term including technical, economic and national concerns for the digital archive. Selection, identification, preservation, and maintenance components of the digital archive is be investigated.
