네트워크와 무선통신의 발달에 힘입어 유비쿼터스 시대가 도래하고 있다. 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅에서의 시큐리티 문제는 인터넷 시대의 시큐리티 문제보다 복잡하며 공격이 용이하지만 대책 수립은 보다 더 어려울 것으로 추측된다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 대표적인 방법이 인증이다. 그러나 현재의 인증을 위한 인증 서버는 하나만 배치되어 있다. 이는 수많은 단말기들이 인증을 위해서 특정 서버에게 인증을 요청하게 되어, 인증서버의 throughput이 저하된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 인증서버를 각 지역에 배치함으로써 그 지역으로 이동한 단말기는 해당 서버의 인증을 받도록 하는 분산서버 인증에 관하여 연구하였다.
Recently, ubiquitous period is introducing by the developments of network and wireless communication. In ubiquitous computing, security is more complicated and valuable for the attack, but is more difficult to establish the countermeasure. The representative method to solve the problem is authentication. However, authentication server is deployed by one for the recent authentication. In this situation, a number of terminal requests authentication to its server then decrease the throughput of authentication server. In this paper, we research about distributed server authentication to solve the problem with the method that authentication server is deployed in each area and terminal nodes authenticate by the server when it moves into the region.
