현재 초등학교에서 실시하고 있는 ICT (Information and Communication Technology) 활용교육을 효율적으로 실행하기 위해서는 교육과정과 교육환경 그리고 교육의 주체인 교사 등의 요소들이 유기적인 관계를 맺으면서 상호 보완적인 입장에서 지원되어야 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 이와 같은 사고를 바탕으로, 학교 현장에서의 ICT 활용교육의 운영 실태를 조사하여 장애요인을 분석하고 바람직한 개선방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이와 같은 목적을 위하여 본 연구에서는 먼저 초등학교에서의 ICT 활용수업 실태를 파악하기 위하여 다양한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 또한 학교 교육과정, 교육환경과 함께 교육 정보화의 실현 주체인 교사를 변인으로 ICT 활용교육의 현황 및 문제점을 조사하고, 설문조사 결과에 근거하여 초등학교에서의 ICT 활용교육의 활성화 방안을 제시하였다.
For successful accomplishment of ICT application in education that has been carried out in elementary schools, comprehensive supports to the essential factors, that are related systematically, in education such as curriculum, educational environment, and teachers are necessary. With this idea in mind, the purpose of this work is to analyze barriers to ICT application in education and propose desirable improvement plans for activating ICT application in education for elementary schools. For this purpose, in this work, we first conduct an extensive survey. In order to get the extensive survey results, three points of view, that is, curriculum, educational environment, and teachers are considered. Based on the survey results, we present the current status and activation plans of ICT application in education for each point of view.
