본 연구는 우리나라 공공도서관의 평생교육 조직체제를 재정립하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 현재의 평생교육 조직과 직원 현황을 조사하고, 평생교육 관리자가 제시하는 문제점을 분석하였다. 이 분석자료를 토대로 평생교육 조직체제의 개선방안을 제안하였다.

This research is aimed to reconstruct Korean public library as lifelong education organization system. This study investigates systems of lifelong education organizations and situations of their employees, and analyzes some problems suggested by managers of lifelong education organizations. Based on this analysis, this study suggests reforming methods of organization system.
