본 연구에서는 대심도 연약지반 개량에 많이 사용되고 있는 성토재하공법과 대기압재하방식 진공압밀공법의 현장계측자료를 분석하여 하중재하방식에 따른 지반의 침하거동 차이를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 준설토로 매립된 초연약지반인 ${igcirc}{igcirc}$지역 항만부지 축조공사의 현장계측 자료를 이용하였으며, 진공압밀공법 적용구간과 성토재하공법 적용구간에서의 계측결과를 비교하여 진공압밀공법이 적용된 지역의 압밀특성을 분석하였다. 이에 잔류침하량 도달까지의 재하시간을 분석한 결과, 진공압밀공법 구간이 성토재하공법 구간보다 45% 정도 빠르게 허용 침하량에 도달하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 진공압밀시 등방압밀 효과로 인하여 전단파괴 없이 일시에 하중재하가 가능하기 때문에 이러한 하중재하 기간의 차이가 허용침하량 도달시간을 단축시킨 것으로 판단된다.
In this study, the ground settlement was investigated by using monitoring data of the test sites where vacuum consolidation method and surcharge method were applied for improving deep soft soil. The monitoring data are chosen in ${igcirc}{igcirc}$ area port construction site reclaimed with very soft dredged clay. These data are analyzed to compare the consolidation characteristics between the different loading methods for soil improvement. Through analysis of the loading time, it is shown that the ground settlement reaches its allowable value under vacuum consolidation loading by about 45% faster than that of the surcharge loading consolidation. This could be explained that vacuum consolidation method makes the isotropic consolidation condition so that the time for reaching a certain final preloading without soil failure can be shortened.
