PC members should be transported from the PC manufacturing plant to the construction site and be uplifted with the on-site crane. So, the span length of beam cannot exceed 15.16m in PC structure buildings, because of the practical restraints of transportation rules and the capacity of crane. To make it possible to have the span length more than 17m in PC buildings there should be a special method like a segmented beam system. In recent study, a segmented beam method using Gerber-beam system was suggested for applying PC systems to the long span buildings. In the suggested system, one of the main points is beam-to-column connection and its behavior. That study verified its feasibility only by the computational analysis with the structural S/W program. However, an experimental study should be inevitably performed for the suggested system to be practically adopted in real buildings. In this study, experimental test was performed to examine following workability and structural behavior; assembly-workability of PC-Beam to PC-Column, interference trouble check among steel bars, inserting workability of anchor bars, shear deformation of panel zone, rotating behavior of PC beam and so on. With the process and result of experiment, some design alternates were also proposed to advance the suggested system.
