국제 임상시험 표준화 기구인 CDISC에서 개발한 SDTM 표준에서는 임상시험 진행계획을 시각적으로 표현하는 TDM 다이어그램을 정의하였다. 본 논문은 TDM 다이어그램을 그래프로 정형화하고, 이 정형화된 그래프 모델이 따라야 하는 무결성 규칙을 제안하였다. 정형화된 TDM 다이어그램과 무결성 규칙은 임상시험 진행계획 설계를 위한 시각적 설계 도구를 제작하는데 이용될 수 있다.
The SDTM standard developed by the CDISC consortium introduces the TDM diagram which visually represents overall design of a clinical trial. The design includes the schedule of interventions, which may be treatment or no treatment, during a period of time. In this paper, we propose a graph model formulating the TDM diagram, and integrity rules that should be satisfied with the diagram. The rules can prevent incorrect diagrams while building the diagram. The proposed TDM graph and its integrity rules will be utilized in developing a graphical design tool for clinical trials.
