The primary objective of this research is to evlauate the environmental performance in a building like multi-family housing. This study consists of three parts; 1) Construction of database for environmental burdens($CO_2$ emission) caused by the use of fossil energy in each cyclical process, 2) Using BIM program with $CO_2$ database of building component, and 3) Performing Life Cycle Assessment for environmental performance in a residential building as the case. The expected results of this study is to predict the total amount of $CO_2$ emitted by the case building during its life-cycle using the $CO_2$ database of building component.
