The Architectural field(建築場) the method of the understanding a architecture is the architectural concept applied on the field theory of the physics. And according to the research of it, the korean traditional architecture is able to be interpreted well by this concept especially. But it seems to be difficult to apply this concept to design and construct the modern buildings and it needs to show the possibility of the application of this concept to the modern architecture. Meanwhile a concept of design and construction of the architecture at this time applied by the modern physics(現代物理學) like this is able to be searched. A recent architectural concepts as a datascape, a rhizome structure and a diagram are introduced as a new viewpoint for understanding of architecture based on the modern physics. By this concept applied to a architecture, a few buildings are designed and established recently. In this research, the difference and the similarity between these contemporary architectural concepts and the architectural field could be studied. And also through this study, the architectural field could be suggested as a possible method for understanding of modern architecture. The something in common between these concepts and the architectural field is that the architecture is composed of the interactions. But to show something as the result is different. The relation of new concepts becomes the main subject as the result of the architectural field. That is, the meaningness of the architecture in this concept is a situation or a network which are showed by the relation among the buildings, a yard and the circumstance environment. On the other hand, the main idea of the new contemporary architectural concepts is the design process by the relation, and as a result of this concept the shape and form of architecture are created necessarily. But undoubtedly this shape is not an ideal shape and form determined just like at modernism. These are various results to be deduced from the process of the relations. Therefore the architectural field concept is sure to be new idea for understanding the architecture. And this concept is possible to apply to understand of the architecture at this time. The more researches are expected to suggest of the method for design the modern architecture by the architectural field concept.
