Current green building certification system was initiated from January, 2002 and revised in July, 2010. All of the building types including apartment house, office, school, complex building, etc. can be evaluated by the system. The system, however, cannot reflect regional characteristics such as energy conservation intensity, area of green park, air pollutions, etc. Therefore, in this research, we are proposing those criteria that could impact the result of the green building certification system throughout analysis of regional statistical data. With those additional criteria the system will be more reasonable by accounting regional environmental effect.
