This paper aims to analyze NAHP(National Affordable Housing Programme), UK focusing on the relationship between its supply process and Design and Quality Standards(D&QS) in view of the quality of housing environment. NAHP has five steps which are pre-qualification, bid, assessment, selection of plan, and review of implementation. D&QS is adapted to the steps of assessment and review of housing environment after completion. The contents of D&QS are compared with the standards of Korea on the basis of the framework including safety, convenience, comfort and sustainability. As a result, the standards of Korea get score more than UK in the aspects of safety, convenience and D&QS of NAHP get more score in the aspects of comfort, sustainability. Furthermore the former has more the standards of physical facilities for residence while the latter has more the standards of plot and regionality which are helpful for the adaptability of different housing types.
