Shortage of construction site workers would appear much higher than that now are judged. This study investigates and analyses current craftmen status prior to provide any suggestions to improve their technical level in construction site. The study includes personal information, technical issues and working conditions by taking survey and focuses on craftmen only. The study shows that the most craftmen are getting older, need basic education for better productivity and licenses, need to know collaborations among the other trades. In addition they need employment contract, insurances and change of salary system for their job security. Finally the study will provide a fundamental data on current craftmen status to help further study related to assess their technical level, develop a guideline for betterment of working conditions and improve their treatment in construction site.
