한국인에게 있어서 달은 우주론·세계관과 인생관 그리고 민속 등에 걸쳐서 매우 큰 의미를 갖고 있다. 본 연구는 우리 민족이 간직한 달의 이미지를 형상화한 달항아리를 주제로 한 전시를 기획하 는 것을 목적으로 한다. 조선의 백자 달항아리와 이를 모티브로 한 현대작가들의 작품을 소재로 하여 전시를 기획하고자 한다. 전시명은 ‘지상에 내려앉은 달, 달 항아리 展’으로 지어 현대인을 비추어 보는 거울로서의 역할과 한국의 아름다움을 대표하는 달 항아리를 나타내고자 한다.

Throughout this time, the exhibition will be to represent the Moon Jar to represent the role and beauty of Korea as a mirror to see the light of the modern man.
