This study was conducted to identify the effects of a therapeutic educational program for caregivers. This study also explores the relationship between stress, depression, and care skills of caregivers. Seventeen caregiver (M=2, F=15) participants entered a therapeutic education program twice a week for five weeks. Each session lasted 40 minutes. Data were analyzed using SPSS WIN 18.0. The results of this study are as follows: 1) the difference in level of stress was not significant after the educational program (t=1.39, p=0.18). 2) The level of depression was not significant after the educational program (t=-1.47, p=0.15). 3) The care skill was a significant after the educational program(t=-2.88, p=0.01). This study provides evidence that a therapeutic educational program for caregiver is an effective method for in improving care skill. These results were thought to be used as important basic data to for elderly patients who need care.
