The purpose of this study was to describe the essential structure of the weaning experiences of premature baby mother. Thirty mothers with premature babies were interviewed. The Colaizzi analysis of phenomenological research was applied. Three theme clusters were extracted; anxiety, lack of information, needs of education. These results provide an opportunity to have a better understanding of the weaning experiences of premature babies mother. It would also be a foundation of weaning education program for premature babies.
