본 연구는 초등 예비교사들이 ‘체육교육Ⅰ’ 강좌를 듣고 나서 생각하고 반성하는 학습 경험의 내용과 성찰의 이야기를 탐색하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 본 연구자들은 2014년 3월부터 6월까지 교육대학교에서 진행한 ‘체육교육 Ⅰ’ 강좌를 수강한 학생들 중 10명의 예비교사를 연구참여자로 선정하였다. 이 연구에서는 연구참여자들이 체육교육을 통해 경험한 학습 내용과 학습 경험의 가치가 포함된 연구참여자의 체육일기를 자료로 수집하였다. 수집된 자료를 Spradley(1979)가 제안한 영역 분석과 분류 분석을 토대로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 연구참여자들의 학습 경험의 내용과 가치로 ‘교사의 의미 변화’, 그리고 ‘체육수업의 의미 변화’로 나타났다. 먼저, 교사 내면의 변화는 첫째, ‘교사의 역할에 대한 인식의 변화’, 둘째, ‘교사로서의 정체성과 철학의 확립’, 셋째, ‘체육수업에 대한 자신감’으로 나타났다. 다음으로 체육수업의 의미 변화 요인은 첫째, ‘체육교과의 명확한 의미와 가치 인식’, 둘째, ‘교수방법에 대한 이해의 확산’, 셋째, ‘체계적인 수업 설계’, 넷째, ‘수업지식의 확장’, 다섯째, ‘체육교육 목표의식의 형성’, 등이 도출되었다. 그리고 체육교육 환경 지원 과제로 협동적 학교문화와 공동체적 전문성 계발, 체육교육 관련자의 역할 재정립, 대학과 현장 간의 소통을 위한 실천 중심의 현장 연구 지원 방안 등을 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to find out reflective thinking felt by elementary pre-service teachers after physical education class. In order to accomplish this purpose, the researcher chosen 9 elementary pre-service teachers who registered for physical education course from march to jun, 2014. The research data was collected through physical education class diary of participations. They were transcribed and coded for domain analysis, classification analysis. The result showed contents of the learning experience and it’s value and educational supports for them. Firstly, the change of teacher’s meaning is revealed ‘change of perceptions about teacher’s role’, ‘establishing identity and philosophy as a teacher’, and ‘confidences of PE class’. Lastly, the change of instruction’s meaning is ‘knowing obvious meanings and value of PE’, and ‘spread of understanding of teaching methods’, ‘systematic instruction design’, ‘extending instruction knowledge’, and ‘PE goal consciousness formation’. Lastly, educational supports for them is discussed about ‘cooperative school cultures and communicative professional developments’, ‘reestablishment of PE stake holders’ role’, and ‘field research support of college and school’.
