This study mainly examines the effects of customer experiential value on emotion, consumer-brand relationship, and brand loyalty in family restaurant industry. More specifically, this research could suggest the practical mediating roles of emotion, satisfaction, and commitment. For these purposes the author developed a structural model which consists of several variables. In this model, customer experiential value that consists of aesthetic, playfulness, consumer return on investment, and service excellence was proposed to affect emotion and satisfaction. Consequently, it is analyzed the effect of emotion on satisfaction and then it was observed that the effects of emotion, satisfaction, and commitment on brand loyalty.
The findings can be summarized as follows: First, aesthetic, playfulness, consumer return on investment, and service excellence affect emotion. Second, aesthetic, playfulness, and service excellence affect satisfaction. Third, emotion has positive effects on satisfaction, commitment, and brand loyalty. Fourth, satisfaction affects commitment and brand loyalty. Fifth, commitment influences on brand loyalty.
