This study is about a case of family counseling which were conducted by way of integrating family counseling theories such as strategic family therapy and structural family therapy. The study is also based on family system theory such as Psychoanalytic therapy, Existential psycho therapy and Adlerian therapy. The case is short-term counseling carried out 6 times for 3 months. The purpose of counseling is to overcome the intensified conflict between a husband and a wife. The conflict had been intensified as the couple had persistingly settled conflict within the family by making a scapegoat of !P. In the course of counseling, focuses were placed on stabilizing emotionally; recognizing their value and sense of existence as family members; and making them embrace their past as precious sources for better present and future by letting them know dysfunction, an abnormal status in which conflict of a couple affects their children; recovering conjugal relations, thereby setting boundaries between family members; and reestablishing family relations.
