본 연구는 지체장애인의 사회적 차별이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향에 있어, 대처자원과 대처방식의 매개효과를 구조모형으로 살펴보았다. 이론적 틀은 스트레스 대처적응모형에 근거하여 대처자원(사 회적 지지, 자아존중감), 대처방식(지역사회참여, 적극적/소극적 대처행동)으로 지체장애인의 사회적 차별인식과 삶의 질에 있어 매개효과가 있는지 살펴보았다. 연구대상자는 부산광역시 내의 장애인복지관을 이용하는 지체장애인을 292명을 대상으로 하였 으며, 자료분석은 SPSS 18.0을 사용하여 빈도분석, t-검증, ANOVA, 상관관계분석 및 신뢰도 분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였으며, AMOS 18.0을 사용하여 구조방정식 모형분석을 실시하였다. 차별적인 환경 속에서 지체장애인들의 삶의 질을 높이고자 하는 구조모형의 검증을 통하여 대처 자원과 대처방식이 매개효과를 가지고 있음을 볼 때, 사회적 지지와 지체장애인의 자아존중감을 높 여주는 대안이 우선적임을 확인하였다.
This study looked into the mediating effect of stress-coping resources and stress-coping methods through the structural model in that social discrimination affects the people with physical disabilities' Quality of Life. Its theoretical frame based on stress-coping theory includes coping resources(social support, self-esteem and coping measures(joining the local community, positive/negative coping behaviors), sees if they have a mediating effect between the people with physical disabilities' awareness of social discrimination and Quality of Life. As for research method, it targeted the people with physical disabilities using the rehabilitation centers for the disabled in the City of Pusan and a survey was done on the people with physical disabilities of all types using 11 rehabilitation centers out of 14 centers in Pusan excluding centers for the blind, the brain lesions disabled and the developmental disabilities and a total of 292 copies were used for final analysis with ones insincerely made were excluded. Collected date underwent frequency analysis, t-test, corelation analysis and reliability analysis and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 18.0 Statistical Program and structural model analysis was made using AMOS 18.0. Regarding relation between their being socially discriminated and Quality of Life, results of seeing if coping resources and methods have s mediating effect showed a statistically significant mediating effect. Coping resources of social support and self-esteem turned out to have positive grip on Quality of Life while coping methods, negative grip on it. This differs from the foregoing studies and from what's anticipated by this study. but the fact that coping resources and methods have a mediating effect proven through the verification of the structural model intended to raise the physically challenged's Quality of Life amid the environment where they are discriminated may show the primary need for alternatives that will increase social support and self-esteem for the physically challenged.
