본 연구는 대학생이 지각한 가정폭력 경험과 학교폭력 경험, 폭력허용도 및 데이팅 폭력과의 관계 의 연관성에 대해 알아보고, 결혼생활에서의 역할사회화에 중요한 맥락이 되는 이성교제 중 폭력에 대한 근거자료를 마련하여 데이팅 폭력에 대한 민감성을 기르고 미래의 건강한 가족생활영위와 가정 폭력을 예방에 기여하고자 한다. 연구대상은 전라북도에 소재한 5개 대학교에 재학 중인 대학생 322 명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하였으며 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반적 특성에 따 른 각 변인간의 차이를 살펴보면, 데이팅 폭력은 연령, 종교, 이성친구 연령, 교제기간, 이성친구 직업 에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 가정폭력 간접경험은 부학력, 모학력에 유의한 차이를 보였으며 학교폭력 가해경험은 성별에 유의한 차이를 보였다. 폭력허용도는 성별에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다 둘째, 변 인들의 상관관계를 보면 가정폭력 직접․간접경험과 학교폭력 피해․가해경험, 데이팅 폭력 피해․가 해경험 간에 정적 상관을 보였다. 폭력허용도와 데이팅 폭력 피해․가해경험은 정적인 상관관계를 보 였으며 성장기폭력 경험과 폭력허용도간에 정적 상관을 보였다. 셋째, 데이팅 폭력에 대한 관련 변인 들의 영향력을 분석한 결과 데이팅 폭력 피해경험은 학교폭력 피해경험이, 데이팅 폭력 가해경험은 학교폭력 가해경험이 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 변인으로 나타났다. 넷째, 가정폭력 직접경험이 데이팅 폭력 피해경험에, 학교폭력 가해경험이 데이팅 폭력 피해경험에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 폭력허용도 가 매개효과가 있었으며, 가정폭력 직접경험이 데이팅 폭력 가해경험에, 학교폭력 피해경험이 데이팅 폭력 가해경험에, 학교폭력 가해경험이 데이팅 폭력 가해경험에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 폭력허용도 가 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 장기적이고 광범위한 이성교제에서 폭력의 부정적인 영향력에 대한 민감성을 기르고 사전 개입을 통해 미래의 건강한 가족생활과 가정폭력 예방 을 위한 교육을 제안해본다.
The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between family violence, school violence, violence tolerance, and dating violence perceived by college students. The study also aimed to understand more about the role of dating violence in the socialization of young adults in order to improve marital relationships and prevent family violence. Methods: The researchers gave a structured questionnaire to 322 enrolled college students from five colleges in Chonbuk. Results: First, in comparing each factor by general characteristics, dating violence showed significant differences in age, religion, age of partner, association period, and job of partner. Indirect experience of family violence showed significant differences between the fathers’ and mothers’ academic backgrounds. Experience of school violence and violence tolerance showed significant differences between genders. Second, there was a static correlation between direct or indirect experience of family violence and the experience of the victim or the injurer of dating violence. There was also a static correlation between violence tolerance and the experience of the victim or injurer of dating violence. Another static correlation appeared between the experience of violence in childhood and violence tolerance. Third, in analyzing the influence of dating violence factors, it was found that the victims’ experiences of dating violence were primarily affected by their experience of school violence. Fourth, violence acceptability showed mediating effects between the direct experience of family violence and dating violence, as well as between school violence and dating violence. Conclusions: It is important to reduce the long-term effects of dating violence. Education can help maintain healthy family relationships and prevent family violence.
