This study used the data of 7th Korean Education Longitudinal Studies, and occupied hierarchical multiple regression analysis and binary logistic regression to examine which factor affected their work orientation in particular focused on job satisfaction and turnover intention of them. The results of the study showed firstly their own education and skill as personal characteristics affected on job satisfaction, and also clearly goal oriented intention toward positive self-development did. Secondly, the higher matching the level work needed and the level employee hold education and skill, the more work orientation was improved. Thirdly, gender and work power and authority was a factor affecting work orientation. These research results recommended that the high school students need more proactive intervention and career guidance. In particular the roles of career guidance at high school level should expanded just job matching, but also setting positive life goals for their career. Also, industries should analyze job related knowledge and skill their employees hold before allocating them.
